Calculating Change and Change Rate
While analyzing data, it is often important to understand how measured data is changing from one time period to another. Oftentimes, the change or change rate is more meaningful than the measured data itself. This new playbook walks through the processes of calculating the change and change rate associated with measured data.
Prior Time Periods
The following playbooks have been updated to include data transform templates for prior time periods to facilitate calculating change and change rate:
- Dates to Report Month
- Dates to Calendar Year Quarters
- Dates to State Fiscal Year Quarters
- Dates to Federal Fiscal Year Quarters
- Dates to State Fiscal Years
- Dates to Federal Fiscal Years
The table below reports the number of public data assets published on the state data portal by asset type for the portal as a whole.
|Data Asset Type||Public Assets|
Total User Accounts: 130
Active Users: 19 (14.6% of total)
Note: Active Users have logged in the data portal at least once in the past month.
The State Data Plan identifies actions Executive Branch State Agencies (non-elected) intend to implement.
