Broadband Availability Map: Version 3 Challenge Process

OFFICIAL NOTICE: In accordance with Iowa Admin. Code r. 129—20.5(1), on October 28, 2020, the Office posted the final version of Broadband Availability Map V3 and opened a 20 day appeal window where any person or party aggrieved or a adversely affected by mapping determinations could appeal the Office's final determination of whether a particular broadband block constitutes a targeted service area pursuant to Iowa Admin Code r. 129—20.4. The Office is further required under Iowa Code r. 129—20.5(3) to notify affected parties by posting any notice of appeal received to this website. Appeals, and written agency decisions (once issued) stating the reasons for the Office’s decisions concerning the census block(s) forming the basis of appeals received by the office, are located below. Received appeals can be accessed by clicking the link provided in the "Notice of Appeal" column. Appeal decisions can be accessed by clicking the link provided in the column labeled "Appeal Decision.” Once issued, final agency decisions shall become final unless within 30 days of such posting an appellant or an affected person or party that submitted evidence in support of, or in opposition to, the appeal files a request for a contested case proceeding pursuant to rule 129—20.6(8B,427).
